Here is the world's first miniature USB 34 hour digital audio recorder designed primarily for telephone recording. Simply plug this tiny unit into your single line telephone jack, and let digital state-of-the-art automation take over. When any extension phone on your line is used, the DAR (digital audio recorder) instantly powers up, recording every word with crystal clarity. When the call is over, the unit goes into a "sleep" mode, using no battery power for recording or stand-by function. (see details below on battery power usage) Other digital recorders last only about 17 hours on a set of batteries even if they are not recording. This is because they are always "listening" for sound to start recording, so they never really turn off, draining battery power at a rapid rate. The digital audio recorder will record for 34 hours on a single set of 2 AAA batteries , even if that takes a couple of weeks or more! Each call will have a time/date stamp and call length. The number of calls recorded will be displayed on the LCD readout as well as total remaining time and battery meter. You can quickly scan from call to call to find a particular call and see the time/date on the LCD display as you scroll. The digital audio recorder also is a great voice recorder, with microphone sensitivity adjustment and internal omni directional microphone.
