In order to cover all markets, Minox Cameras released this lower end model of the famous spy camera in the 1970's and 1980's which was purchased by many American private investigators mainly to say they owned one. it was a popular model with a flash but it didn't do all the stuff the higher end model did which was designed for quick document photos. As apposed to the full-featured Minox spy camera which sold for over $1,000, this model was priced in the $300.00 range.
