Mamiya 16 Spy Camera 1950's, 1960's
Mamiya cameras where known for their fine quality. Police departments snapped them up by the hundreds as well as private eyes since they were not nearly as expensive as the Minox cameras. This model had an automatic light meter adjustment built in which was quite a feature at that time. That is, you didn't have to worry about lighting adjustments as it was all automatic. If you had one in the late 1950's and 1960's as a private investigator, you had top flight equipment.
