Mayfair Transistor Reel To Reel Long Play Portable Tape Recorder, 1960s
The Mayfair was a higher quality reel-to-reel recorder than some of the other units on the market in the 1960s. It ran on 2 D batteries and had a variable speed control knob which made it one of the first long play recorders. It was sold with a telephone recording pickup to record both sides of a telephone conversation.
